Eastern Orthodox Church: The Eastern Orthodox Church does not have a single leader like the Pope in the Catholic Church. Instead, it is organized as a communion of autocephalous (self-headed) churches, each led by its own patriarch, archbishop, or metropolitan. The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople is considered the "first among equals" and has a position of honor, but does not have direct authority over the other Orthodox churches.
* Roman Catholic Church: The Roman Catholic Church is led by the Pope, who is the Bishop of Rome. The current Pope is Pope Francis.
